Great Hair Once Again at the 42nd CMA Awards – Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift, Julianne Hough & Reese Witherspoon

My favorite thing about the CMA Awards is that ALL OF THE STARS all have the most amazing hair!

Carrie Underwood has NEVER had a bad hair day (I am so jealous!), Kellie Pickler looks amazing as she grows out her beautiful bob (although I would recommend a toner for her regrowth *sorry), and Taylor Swift constantly changes up between extensions, updos and her natural hair!

Celebrity Blondes: How to Explain YOUR Style to Your Hairdresser!

We have all experienced it – sitting in the chair of your stylist (or colorist) and trying to explain exactly WHAT shade of blonde we want.  Some stylists hate pictures, swatches…I mean, without those, how do you know your stylists understands what you want?  Well, I hope to give you some language to use with your stylist so you can convey your wishes. Afterall, none of us our mind readers, right!

The most crucial step during your consultation, is when your stylist asks you the desired shade you are looking to achieve. Well, that is blonde, right?  Well, there are several types of blondes….I begin by asking, do you want to be warm or cool?  What does that mean?  Below are some photos and termininology to help you navigate your way to the PERFECT shade of blonde!
